Released ExTiX 16.2 with KDE 4.15 & KDE Frameworks 5.15.0

The ExTiX project announced the The ExTiX 16.2 KDE 64 bit is based on stable Debian 8.4 Jessie, unstable Debian 9 Stretch and Ubuntu 16.04. It’s featured with KDE Desktop Environment, KDE Frameworks 5.15.0 with KDE 4.15 powered with Linux kernel 4.4.0-19-exton.

All the Package & core packages has been updated to latest version powered with Linux kernel 4.4.0-19-exton.

Google Chrome is used as a default Web Browser wich will help users to search & enjoy everything.

BlueGriffon is a new WYSIWYG content editor for the World Wide Web. Powered by Gecko, the rendering engine of Firefox, it’s a modern and robust solution to edit Web pages in conformance to the latest Web Standards.

Other included important/useful packages are: LibreOffice, Thunderbird, GParted, Brasero, SMPlayer, GCC and other compilation tools so that you can install packages from source.

Another big improvement on this release, that we can run the ExTiX OS from RAM (Use Boot alternative 3 (Copy to RAM)) after boot with the Live OS (We can remove after OS booted). Your system should atleast have 2GB of RAM to perform this. When you running from RAM will get better performance compare with running from Live DVD or USB.

Improved system installer, now users are allowed to create new user during the installation process.
